SPANGLER smooths the career start for school-leavers
To work against declining trainee figures, the company approaches school leavers.
„At different stations in the house we want to show the teenagers and their parents who we are and what we train”, said Cornelia Hofmann to give a summary of the day. The medium-sized company in the Altmühltal has manufactured control panels of high quality for global projects for more than 30 years. From the company headquarters in Töging, all projects from regional water suppliers through grain warehouse plants to large wastewater treatment plants are managed.
From Töging into the world
„As a family company, it is from essential meaning for us to have optimally trained employees” betrayed Managing Director Hannelore Spangler, “because the secret of our success lies in our employees too, who ensure our quality daily.” To take a step towards prospective trainees and students, the company opens its doors at 26 July for one afternoon to present two commercial faculties and two electronic jobs as well as two integrated degree programs.
Advantages for trainees
From 1pm to 5pm there are tours and presentations in the premises, which are intended to demonstrate the opportunities the medium-sized company in the Altmühltal provides to develop to the pupils and their parents. “Currently we are training 19 apprentices and 3 students and so far we have taken all teenagers into an unlimited employment relationship.” confirms Hofmann, “We offer a solid apprenticeship to apprentices and students, a safe workplace and an interesting vocational field.” The trainees benefit from the advantages, which the family company offers quite distinctly: Familiar environment, direct support, a big spectrum of tasks, the SPANGLER fitness programme, which enables the access to sporting activities for the employees, and the international direction of the apprenticeship, which is assured by regular English lessons and an exchange to Ireland, raise the apprenticeship to a respectable level. The information day takes place regardless of weather conditions on 26 July. All school-leavers who are interested in qualified jobs and an integrated degree program as well as their parents are invited.
