Managing Director Hannelore Spangler was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit by the Minister-President Horst Seehofer.

SPANGLER is awarded with the Bavarian State Prize as family-friendly company. The prize was presented by the secretaries from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Media, Energy and Technology as well as Employment and Social Order, Family and Integration in the Imperial Hall of the Residence.

EasyPanel market launch: The first Germany-wide Internet platform for configuring house distribution panels goes online.

2014

Tina Lambert, daughter of Franz and Hannelore Spangler, becomes Managing Director.

Christian Brandmüller, Head of Sales is appointed to the management of the family-run business.

First distribution of profit participation rights: Employees at SPANGLER have the opportunity to participate in the company’s success.

2011

The newly revised concept of idea management is implemented. With their ideas employees participate in shaping the company via the SPANGLER innovation management.

2010

SPANGLER GMBH is developed from elektro Franz Spangler GmbH with a completely new image.

SPANGLER introduces the CAE-system EPLAN P8 as a design standard.

2009

The new construction of a 900m² administration building complements the company building, which was built in 1995.

2006

SPANGLER is 25 years old. The staff celebrates the anniversary with many honoured guests from business and politics.

SPANGLER exhibits for the first time at the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Water, Sewage, Waste and Raw Materials Management (IFAT).

Founder Franz Spangler dies unexpectedly.
Hannelore Spangler becomes Managing Director and continues operations together with her brother Helmut Graspointner.

1995

New construction of a 1,200 square metre production and administration building at Altmuehlstrasse 13 in Töging.

The sole proprietorship becomes a corporation – elektro Franz Spangler GmbH is born out of the individual companies. Franz Spangler and Helmut Graspointner run the business.

1989

Production of the first control cabinet with a PLC controller.

1987

Design and construction of the first machine controller.

This completely new business sector, which was founded with lot of commitment, laid the foundation for the company’s long-term success.

Franz Spangler sets up his own business. The company start with with repairing radios and TVs as well as with electrical installations in building services.
