19.11.2025 Experimenting, exploring, marveling – Spangler Kids Day inspires young adventurers

Töging, 19. November 2025. – Today, Spangler GmbH once again hosted its popular Kids Day, an exciting event giving the children of Spangler employees a lively behind-the-scenes look at their parents’ workplace.

Around 20 children aged six to twelve spent Buß- und Bettag — a school-free day when parents still have to work — enjoying a memorable and activity-packed day at Spangler. Curious and enthusiastic, they were able to playfully explore the world of automation technology and even get hands-on themselves.

Exciting electrotechnical experiments
Together with the apprentices, the children built small technical projects such as a brush-mounted electric motor, a voltage tester, and the classic dexterity game “Hot Wire.” Fun movement challenges and a lively quiz put their team spirit to the test before everyone recharged with a shared pizza lunch after a photo session.

A tour through the entire company
One highlight of the day was the tour of the production facilities, where the young guests could try out many stations themselves: sitting on a forklift, drilling, completing their first wiring tasks, and weighing themselves together in the warehouse at the end. There was amazement, laughter, and learning at every stop. The children also had the opportunity to visit their parents at their workstations.

Closing the childcare gap
“Kids Day was an outstanding success – the children had a fantastic time, and for many parents it was a great relief to have reliable childcare on a school-free day,” said Cornelia Hofmann, member of the management team.

Spangler Kids Day is a clear reflection of the company’s commitment to family-friendliness and to fostering a healthy work–life balance — an area in which Spangler has already earned several awards. Initiatives like this show that youth development and family awareness are firmly rooted in the company culture — and perhaps among today’s excited participants were the skilled specialists of tomorrow.
